The Last Leg
by Cyberwulfe

Cyberwulfe hugged Ozymandis and clapped Brorjace on the shoulder. His two friends were taking the starship Always away from the planet Fn-22 and on to where the seventh Dragon Ball was waiting for them. In the rush to beat Zero Tiger and collect the two remaining magic balls Cyberwulfe felt the need to split up the team. It would be the fastest and best way. Once the balls were safely in their paws they could make a beeline for Earth to wish RazorWolf back to life.

"You're sure about this?" Ozy questioned.

"I can handle myself. I've reached the highest level I can get to right now," Cyberwulfe replied," Once we wish Razor back to life I'll begin training with him in the black holes."

"Sounds like a plan," Brorjace exclaimed.

"Jace, your powers have improved over the past week. Don't forget what you've learned."

"Don't worry, Cyber," Jace replied," And I'll watch the lizard's back for you too."

"The lizard?" Ozy grunted.

Brorjace just smiled.

"Alright, take care you guys," Cyber grinned and began to walk away from the ship.

Soon after the ramp closed up and the ship was sealed, the engines roared to life and the starship flew off into the sky. Cyberwulfe watched the ship disappear into space before turning towards the rough terrain that faced him. The entire surface of the planet was naturally armoured with a heavy layer of metallic elements. He had been worried that the Dragon Ball was buried somewhere deep inside the thick armoured shell, but after scanning the terrain with his Dragon Radar Cyberwulfe discovered that the Dragon Ball was above ground.

"That'll make my search easier," he said to himself," We're just one step away from wishing you back, Razor."

Cyberwulfe's quest to wish back his friend and mentor from the land of the dead had been a long and perilous one. But now he found himself so close to the end. As long as Ozymandis and Brorjace found the next Dragon Ball safely their quest would be over. The trip back to earth would be a long one, giving Cyber plenty of time to train Brorjace and Ozymandis some more in the gravity chamber on board the ship. After reaching the highest gravity level, one-thousand times Earth's normal gravity, Cyberwulfe found his power level close to fifty million. He almost felt sorry for anyone who dared to stand in his way, unless it was Zero Tiger himself. Although he was strong, Cyberwulfe still had a long way to go before he could kill the feline demon who had destroyed RazorWolf, just less than a year earlier.

Cyber sighed softly. It had been a long five months in space. Traveling, fighting, training. Trying harder and harder to get better and always finding himself falling short. But now he was so close to RazorWolf's power level. He was certain that once his friend was back they'd be able to train together and become the ultimate fighters. Super Lupines, the mysterious legend of their ancestors. Cyber grinned at the thought of having such power. He'd never paid much attention to the legends, but it spoke of the power to move planets in orbit. To destroy a galaxy with a simple thought. He was happy that he was one of the good guys, and would never use the power for evil purposes. Not like the power that Zero Tiger commanded. Cyberwulfe growled at the thought of the demon monster. He would pay for his acts of terrorism against the peaceful inhabitants of the galaxy.

Cyberwulfe decided to walk to the Dragon Ball. Ozy and Jace wouldn't return for several weeks, if all went well, so he had plenty of time to pass. Holding the Dragon Radar in one paw he kept on course towards the Dragon Ball.

On the other side of the planet Fn-22, a small group of starships were landing. They were troop carriers, loaded to the gills with powerful armoured warriors. They were a heavy assault team sent by Zero Tiger to capture the Dragon Ball on the planet and kill anyone they came across. His warriors showed no mercy. They had a job to do and nothing could stand in their way.

Their commander was a large black cat named Nekucha. His fighting power and skill was legendary among his feline brothers. Only Zero Tiger himself rivaled his strength. He had worked hard through his life, from a kitten to the warrior he was today, to become a commander. The leader of this assault force. He would make sure Zero Tiger's orders were followed to the letter. Any stragglers would be executed without question. There were no trials or court marshals in this army. It was victory or death.

He twitched his tail as the transports unloaded. One hundred of his strongest fighters were waiting for his command to search the planet and take the Dragon Ball. He had split the army into four platoons of twenty-five fighters each. Together they'd cover the small planet in less than a day. The four groups lined up around him in a circular shape, grouped together in squares, five by five.

"Alright men! Keep your radars tuned to the Dragon Ball's reading, ok? Keep your Scouters hot in case anyone else is on this planet. Anyone who may be a threat will show up like a firefly. Don't let anything stop you. Taker no prisoners. Bring back that ball for our Lord Zero!"

A might battle cry arose from the warriors. They were primed and ready for action. Hard working highly trained fighters, bred for battle. They made no mistakes, and their ferocity in battle was unmatched anywhere in the galaxy.

The red transport ships closed their hatches as steam hissed from the cooling vents. They shut down their systems as the piloting crews readied for their duties in setting up an encampment. Although they were not warriors themselves, they were dressed in combat armour and carried high powered energy pistols for defense. Within an hour the various types of tents and collapsible buildings had been arranged in a semicircle against a large rocky outcropping. The warriors spent the last few hours of light eating and drinking, sharing war stories with each other and having small wrestling competitions. Nekucha watched and smiled, knowing his troops were the strongest, most highly trained fighting force in the galaxy.

Night set in and the warriors settled down to sleep. At dawn they would scour the planet for the Dragon Ball.

Cyberwulfe lay back and looked up at the starry sky. The tiny specks of light twinkled in the bluish black night sky. A meteor streaked by, lighting up the planet below with its radiance as it burned up in the atmosphere. Cyber smiled as it faded, admiring the glow. He had spent many summers on Earth watching as the meteors fell from orbit in August. He thought of being home on Earth, which was a possibility in a few weeks.

"Boy it's been a long journey," he said to himself.

Five months in space. Many battles, many rewards, many friends made. It had been a journey of friendship, love, hate, pain, fear, and self discovery. Cyberwulfe's confidence grew each day as he became stronger, knowing he would ultimately reach his goal of defeating Zero Tiger. But until that day came he'd concentrate on the task at hand. In the morning he'd find the Dragon Ball and then wait for Ozymandis and Brorjace to return with the seventh ball.

"We're coming home for you, Razor," Cyber smiled," Then we'll train together and kick Zero's ass into the next dimension!"

Cyberwulfe reached back and scratched his neck, resting his paw there and leaning back against it. He yawned and looked up at the sky once more. All the long months in space, the training the fighting the hurting, now it was finally over. He was going home again. Sighing contently, Cyberwulfe rolled onto his side and fell asleep.

Inside Nekucha's encampment, spirits were high. The warriors once again grouped together in their four formations and lined up next to their commander. The morning sun was just popping up over the rocky mountains, casting long shadows over them as they prepared to take off.

"Alright men! Everyone meet back here once the Dragon Ball has been secured. I don't want any mistakes. You know what will happen to any of you if you mess up," Nekucha said.

The troops nodded. Instant death wasn't on the top of their list of fun things to do. With a final salute the warriors took off into the sky.

Cyberwulfe rubbed his butt as he walked in the direction of the Dragon Ball. The beeps from his Dragon Radar became more frequent as he got closer to his goal. Licking his lips he took another bite of the breakfast croissant he'd been chewing on for the past ten minutes. Sleeping on the rocks had been very uncomfortable and he had many kinks in his bones. But after some more walking they were soon worked out.

"Remind me to bring a mattress next time," he joked to himself.

He hadn't taken another step when he suddenly stopped and looked into the sky.

"What the...?" he whispered.

A great power was approaching. It was a large power, like nothing he'd ever felt before. Was it Zero Tiger? Straining to sense the power he soon registered many more, a group of at least twenty. Narrowing down the individual power levels he realized that the giant power was really the accumulated power of each of the approaching powers. Not being one to take chances, Cyberwulfe jumped behind a large boulder and waited for the group of powers to fly by him. They weren't moving very fast and took a few minutes to reach his location. Sweat ran down his forehead as they arrived. It was a group of twenty-five feline warriors.

"Zero Tiger's men," Cyber whispered.

The warriors hovered above him for a few minutes before heading off in the direction he'd been walking in just a few moments earlier. Cyber watched as they flew over a nearby ridge and disappeared over the other side.

"I can't let them get the Dragon Ball! Dammit, I'm so close!" he exclaimed.

Keeping his power low, Cyberwulfe soared into the air and gave chase after the group of cats. Sensing out towards them he could feel how powerful they were. Each fighter was over twenty million, possibly higher than thirty million. He was sure that he'd have to fight at close to his maximum power in order to defeat them all quickly. He hoped this was the last battle he'd have to take part in before the final round with Zero Tiger himself.

With the element of surprise still in his paws, Cyberwulfe charged up to half his maximum and fired a huge blast of red energy at the flying warriors ahead of him. Before they could turn around, the blast burned a hole through their ranks, killing six of the fighters instantly. The warriors split up, turning sharply upon Cyberwulfe as he drove himself into their formation, firing rapid bolts of energy from his fingertips. His shots hit with perfect accuracy, thanks to months of training. Five more cats fell to the ground before their comrades could counter attack.

Cyberwulfe dodged bolts of energy, phasing in and out, appearing at random positions, firing his own bursts of fire when the opportunity arose. He exchanged punches and kicks, sending more and more of the fighters to the hard metallic surface below. Taking the fight to the ground, Cyberwulfe stood at a distance, facing the remaining eight fighters. Each of them were feline, lions, leopards, and a lynx. They stood staring at him with deadly glares, as if they could burn holes through him just by looking at him.

"Who the hell are you?" one of them shouted at him.

"No one you want to know. I'm here for the Dragon Ball. Leave now and you might survive the trip home," Cyber replied.

"I think you're a little outnumbered," the cat replied," And you've lost your chance at another surprise attack."

"Who says I need one?"

"I think you're in over your head, friend."

Almost as if the cats were linked telepathically, they each began charging up their power levels. One by one, fiery shrouds of energy enveloped each of the eight fighters as their power levels rose higher and higher. Cyberwulfe wished he had a scouter on so he could see exactly what they were capable of, but by the time they stopped he could sense that they were much weaker than he originally thought. He just stood staring at them, arms crossed, a smug grin across his muzzle. His tail swayed gently behind him, almost amusingly.

"Are you finished?" he asked.

"Oh we're just getting started," another one of the cats replied.

He was the first to attack. Cyberwulfe blocked his punch and whirled around him, knocking him down with his elbow. Turning back to the others he looked just in time to see another of the cats coming at him, followed closely by a second and third. He leapt up and kicked the first one in the head, landed quickly and delivered a powerful punch that totally floored the second cat, and then punched the third cat in the chest, sending him flying through the air. He landed hard and skidded on his face before coming to a stop. Cyberwulfe stood casually, the cats laying on the ground around him groaning and rolling around in pain. He held out both arms and shot blasts of energy at each one, executing them quickly.

Cyberwulfe wished he had a camera so he could take a picture of the looks on the other cats faces. He had just taken out four of them in less than ten seconds. One cat stumbled backwards and scampered away, leaping into the air and tried to fly away. He didn't get very far before a sharp blast from Cyberwulfe blew him in half. His pieces rained down onto the ground just a few meters away from his companions. Three left.

"Now, does anybody want to arm-wrestle?" Cyber asked.

"Damn you!" the first cat spat back at him.

Cyberwulfe just smirked and leapt into the air, holding his paws above his head," Masenko-ha!" he threw his arms down, crossing his paws in front of him and sending a radiant red blast of energy down towards the remaining three cats. Before they could try to block or dodge the attack it struck them hard, creating a massive explosion. Rocks and debris flew everywhere as the smoke billowed from the crater where the three cats had once stood. When it cleared all that remained were three corpses.

Cyber landed on the ground. After looking around at the twenty-five dead fighters he proceeded to bury each one before heading off again. He looked back over the ridge where he had been walking just a few minutes earlier. Looking in the direction of the Dragon Ball he could see a very tall mountain. Perhaps the ball was located at the summit. He looked at the row of twenty-five graves and shook his head.

"What a waste. I gave you your chance to leave," he murmured," But where's there's one of you, there's bound to be others. I'd better get to that Dragon Ball."

Cyberwulfe leapt into the air and rocketed toward the blip on his radar screen. His energy shroud kicking up dirt and rocks as he flew along the rocky metallic surface.

Meanwhile in Nekucha's base camp, a radar technician suddenly jumped from his seat. Nekucha, who had been standing nearby, approached the tech as he winced and rubbed his ears.

"What's wrong, Lieutenant?" he asked.

"It's incredible sir," the tech explained," The radar suddenly went crazy. I detected an enormous power reading from group B's position."

"How big was the power level?" Nekucha asked.

"I don't know for sure. It sent feedback screaming through my headphones. I'll take another look," the tech bent down and looked at his screen. He shook his head slowly," I don't understand. It's showing a power level of five thousand. A second ago it was off the scale."

Nekucha put his paw to his chin," Hmm, contact B Leader. I want an update."

"Yes sir," the tech flipped a switch opening a channel with group B," Come in B Leader, this is Home Base." There was nothing but silence," Come in B Leader, this is Home Base. I repeat, come in. Commander Nekucha wants an update."

"Lieutenant, how many power levels do you detect in that quadrant?" Nekucha asked.

"Um, only one sir. And it's only at five thousand," the tech replied nervously.

"How could someone with a power level of only five thousand wipe out an entire group of my best warriors?" Nekucha exclaimed. He grabbed the headset off the tech's head and flipped the "All Call" switch," This is Commander Nekucha to groups A and C. Converge on quadrant A-57 immediately and investigate the disappearance of group B."

Nekucha dropped the headset on the control console and left the technician to his duties. Arriving at his tent he threw open the flap and sat down on his cot. An entire platoon of his best men had been killed within seconds and he wanted to know who was responsible.

Cyberwulfe checked his radar again. The Dragon Ball was just a few more kilometers away. In the distance he could see a small gray shape on the side of the mountain. Most likely the prison complex that had been built into the planet's surface. Only the most dangerous criminals were kept here, locked away in a solid steel fortress. He only hoped that the Dragon Ball wasn't buried somewhere deep within the complex, or under it.

His thoughts of the Dragon Ball were interrupted by another burst of energy. Stopping dead in mid flight, he turned to the east. Approaching was another massive fighting power. Sensing deep into the cloud of energy he picked out each individual power level, detecting fifty in total.

"Great, not again," Cyber groaned," There's more of them than I originally thought."

Cyberwulfe soared toward the ground and flew just a few feet off the rocky surface. As the powers approached, Cyberwulfe noticed a black swarm flying towards him. Once again it was a large group of armoured feline warriors. Zero Tiger's men.

"If Zero Tiger is here, there's no way I'll get that Dragon Ball," Cyber growled," Dammit I'm so close to getting the last one."

Stopping sharply behind a large boulder, Cyberwulfe charged up a huge energy ball and waited. When he sensed that the fighters were close enough for his attack to work he leapt up from behind the rock and threw the ball into the middle of the group of warriors. Taken by surprise, many of the fighters were enveloped in the ball. Cyberwulfe pointed his first two fingers and flipped them upwards. This caused the ball to explode into a massive burst of fire. Fifteen smoldering bodies flew to the ground.

"There! That must be him!" one of the cats shouted.

"Kill him!" commanded another.

"I have such trouble making new friends" Cyberwulfe smiled.

Floating in a defensive stance, Cyberwulfe watched as the thirty-five remaining fighters all converged on him. He flashed quickly and disappeared, appearing in the middle of the group and pummeling four of the fighters quickly. They fell to the ground, unconscious. He used this trick several more times before the fighters were able to organize themselves. The remaining twenty-eight fighters formed four groups of seven, creating a small formation of warriors.

"Alright. Group Alpha engage," commanded a tiger who was wearing a gold armband. Obviously a commanding officer.

The seven felines soared towards Cyberwulfe. He charged up his energy higher and leapt to meet their attack. The cats surrounded him and rotated in a clockwise direction, throwing punches and kicks towards Cyberwulfe. As trained by RazorWolf in such a situation, Cyberwulfe rotated counterclockwise, sensing his opponents moves and blocking each blow. But not all of them were as slow. Cyber caught a hard hit to the jaw, then a kick to his back. Stumbling forward, Cyberwulfe left himself open to allow a black panther to deliver a hard hit with his knee. Cyberwulfe flipped over backwards and landed on his face.

He swung his arms around and did a backflip, landing on his feet a few meters away from the cats. He wiped his chin of blood and glared back at the fighters.

"Well you're certainly better trained than those other wusses I killed," Cyber smirked.

"You'll be joining them shortly. My brother was one of them," the tiger with the armband growled.

"You've got to catch me first. I haven't even shown you half of my power yet."

Some of the cats looked stunned, while the tiger just kept an amused look on his face. Cyberwulfe spread his feet apart and stood in a defensive stance. Clenching his fists he began to charge his power higher and higher. A brilliant blue energy shroud burned around him, sending a sudden wave of energy outward. The cats held their arms up, protecting their eyes from the dust and debris that few towards them. Cyberwulfe howled as his power increased, climbing sharply from twenty million to thirty, then stopping. He stood up straight, arms and legs relaxed. The fire burned less violently now, and merely flickered around him like flames licking a log. Lowering his gaze he glared back at the seven cats, an evil smirk across his lips.

"I don't believe this," the tiger exclaimed. A scouter across his eyes flashed the power reading clearly in front of his eyes," This thing must be broken." He ripped it from is face and tossed it to the ground.

"Come on, guys. He's can't be that strong," one of the seven warriors said.

The other cats nodded and grinned, flexing their muscles, ready to pounce. Cyberwulfe just stood calmly, his arms hanging loosely on each side of his body. A slight breeze blew at his baggy khaki pants. Tufts of fur blew casually.

"I'd look behind you if I were you," Cyber spoke softly.

The cats turned just as Cyberwulfe flashed and disappeared, reappearing behind them as if he had been standing there the whole time. The cats gasped.

"Did he just teleport?" one of the other cats exclaimed in disbelief.

"No, it's pure speed," replied the tiger commander.

Cyberwulfe disappeared again, appearing directly in front of one of the seven cats," Hello," he smiled.

The cat's eyes widened and he threw his fist at Cyberwulfe. He flashed once more and seemed to phase through the cat's arm, appearing behind him. Before the cat could turn around, Cyberwulfe punched him hard in the back of the head. The cat's eyes bugged out of their sockets from the impact and he fell over dead.

"Naga!" the tiger shouted. He glared at Cyberwulfe," Everyone, kill him now!"

The cats converged on Cyberwulfe once more, each firing energy blasts. He smiled and disappeared, the blasts connecting in the centre and exploding. From the clouds of dust, Cyberwulfe shot forth and dropped several energy bombs on the attacking fighters. They barely dodged the powerful exploding blasts. He flew at sonic speed, cutting through their ranks once more, dropping four more cats before turning and hovering a few feet off the ground. Then he noticed that the tiger was missing.

"Looking for me?" he heard from behind.

Before Cyberwulfe could turn he was caught in a powerful grip. The tiger held his arms behind his back with an incredible strength. Struggle as he might, Cyber couldn't get loose.

"Cocky, aren't you?" the tiger said," Well now my men and I can have our way with you."

Cyberwulfe growled as he struggled some more. The tiger soared to the ground and slammed Cyberwulfe against a rock. Stunned, Cyber watched as three of the warriors approached. They all began to lay into him. Fists, feet, knees, elbows. All pummeling his head and torso. He was now bleeding from his lip, nose, and eyebrow.

"Well, this is one painful massage," he joked.

"Your sense of humour won't keep you alive, friend. It's time to end this little game of yours," the tiger growled into Cyber's ear.

He gripped Cyberwulfe tighter, squeezing him. Cyber could feel his ribs cracking under the strain. He struggled, but only put more force on his body. The tiger appeared to be even stronger than himself. There was only one strategy he could think of at the moment. With lightning speed he swung his foot backwards and landed it squarely in the tiger's crotch. With a kitten-like squeak, the tiger screamed and released Cyberwulfe.

"Damn that was a cheap shot," one of the cats booed Cyberwulfe.

"Maybe, but I'm not the one laying on the ground with crushed nuts," Cyberwulfe rubbed his mouth with his wrist," Now, who wants to die first?"

Cyberwulfe didn't bother to wait for an answer. He attacked fiercely, his punches and kicks strong enough to rip each of the fighters in half. After taking off the head of the last fighter, he returned to the tiger, who lay on the ground moaning and holding his groin.

"Now tell me, is Zero Tiger on this planet?" he asked.

"Fuck you!" the tiger managed to growl.

"Well as much as you'd enjoy it you're not really my type. But I'll take that as a yes," Cyber replied.

"Lord Zero is not here. Our commander, Nekucha, is more than a match for you. He'll kill you in an instant. His fighting prowess is legendary!"

"Interesting. Funny how I've never heard of him," Cyber replied.

"You'll be meeting him soon."

"I'm looking forward to it. Maybe I'll send him to visit you in hell."

Cyberwulfe raised his foot and slammed it down on the tiger's torso, breaking his ribcage and crushing his internal organs. As with the first group of fighters, Cyberwulfe gave them all a warrior's burial before turning back towards the mountain. He flew up to a high altitude and scanned the planet with his mind. He could sense another forty-five power levels, one of them was huge. But they were still many kilometers away, and there was a chance that Cyberwulfe would make it to the Dragon Ball before they could even catch him.

"Alright, let's get some speed going," Cyber said to himself.

Charging up his power, Cyberwulfe shot off at supersonic speed. The mountain growing larger and larger as he approached. Finally after a minute of flying he reached his destination. The Dragon Radar blinked and beeped rapidly. He was standing directly over the Dragon Ball itself. Looking toward the prison he could barely see small specks moving. Most likely guards watching his activities. He looked down at the mountain, a solid block of steel. Hovering slowly he proceeded to float down the mountain's surface until he was level with the Dragon Ball's location. It was buried six meters below the surface. Six meters of solid steel.

"Great. I'd better get to work," Cyberwulfe grunted.

He flew up to the shelf again and aimed his paw at the ground. Firing a small red beam he proceeded to cut his way through the mountain towards the Dragon Ball.

"Great, at this rate it'll take me forever."

"What?" Nekucha shouted," Everyone's dead?"

"Yes sir. I'm not picking up anything. Just that strange power level, which is now heading off towards the mountain range at incredible speed," the technician replied," I'm detecting a power level of thirteen-thousand."

"Bah, he's a weakling. He can't be the one we're looking for. There must be two of them. We've got to locate that other power," Nekucha ordered.

"Yes sir," the tech went back to his console and tapped at a few keys," Sir, the small power has stopped on the mountain."

"Send group D to kill him. I'll go out myself and patrol. Notify me if you detect that higher power again," Nekucha turned and left the operations tent.

Cyberwulfe watched as the red beam cut its way through the mountain. He switched hands as his left arm grew tired. Checking the radar quickly he calculated that he was about three feet away from the Dragon Ball. He'd have to use telekinesis to life the ball out of the hole once he was done drilling.

"I've almost got you now," Cyber smiled, peering down into the hole.

He was so intent on getting the Dragon Ball that he didn't notice group D forming up behind him. Each fighter held his arms out and generated a huge blast of energy. Each fighter fired their beam at the same time. The energy build-up caught Cyberwulfe's attention and he turned, but not before the huge blast was already bearing down on him.

He leapt into the air and looked below him as the blast crashed into the mountain where he had been standing just a split second earlier. He looked up to see twenty-five cats rushing towards him. They caught up to him so fast he didn't have a chance to defend himself. This group of cats was different than the others. They pummeled him hard, using small bursts of energy when an opportunity presented itself. Cyberwulfe defended himself from what he could, but the group of fighters soon overpowered him and he crashed to the ground in a heap.

He groaned and rose to his knees, looking up at the cats as they landed just a few feet away. A lion with a blue armband stepped forward, his arms crossed. A scowl across his face.

"Where is your partner you sick pathetic sack of entrails?" he roared.

"Partner? I came alone," Cyberwulfe replied.

"Liar. We know there are two of you. One of you has an incredible power level, and the other, like yourself, has a power no greater than five-thousand," the lion continued," Now where is your companion?"

"Oh, let me get him for you then," Cyber smirked.

Rising to his feet, Cyberwulfe stretched his arms out before dropping them loosely by his sides.

"Don't tell me you're actually going to try to fight us," the lion tapped at his scouter," You're much much weaker than us."

"Oh I'm not going to fight you. But my friend with the high power level will," Cyberwulfe replied.
He raised his arms in front of his chest and crossed them, forming an X. Staring back at the lion he glared at him with red eyes," He'll be here in a minute," and with that he exploded with energy, powering up to over twenty-million in less than a second. The explosion knocked the lion backwards, bowling over several of his own men.

"What the hell is this?" the lion stammered, finally getting to his feet.

Cyber's eyes were glowing white now, electricity coursed along his body as his power level rose higher and higher. The flames around his body turned red, then blue, and finally white. By the time he stopped powering up he had grown to almost twice his normal size, his muscles bulging under his clothing. His long black hair billowed in the waves of energy as if in a hurricane wind.

"Now," he growled," Welcome to Cyberwulfe's school of how to create a real energy bolt!"

Some of the cats stepped backward, holding their paws in front of their faces to shield them from the light that emanated from Cyberwulfe. Reaching towards the cats, Cyberwulfe began to generate a powerful ball of energy. Baring his fangs, he fed more and more power into the ball, causing it to pulse red and white, growing larger and larger.

"Death Wave!" Cyberwulfe shouted.

The red ball of energy collapsed upon itself, creating a very wide wave of red and white energy. It shot out towards the fighters, crashing into them and instantly disintegrating each one. The lion commander ducked his head as the wave soared over him, killing each and every one of his comrades. The wave crashed through the nearby mountain, causing large rocks and tons of rubble to come crashing down its face. When the smoke cleared, all the lion could see was Cyberwulfe standing before him with his arm stretched out toward him, paw held out in greeting.

"Hi there, you wanted to see me?" Cyber taunted.

The lion reached for his scouter and tapped a button," Get Nekucha here immediately! There's only one fighter!"

Cyberwulfe quickly rolled his paw into a fist and pounded the lion hard, crushing his skull. Blood oozed out his nose and ears. Cyberwulfe grunted and sighed, wiping the blood from his face once more. Looking down at himself he saw his shirt and pants were ripped. They'd caught him by surprise.

"Damn that was an amateur mistake," Cyber spat out some blood," RazorWolf's probably shaking his head right now."

Cyber looked back at the hole where he'd been drilling for the Dragon Ball. He took one step towards he when suddenly he detected another large power approaching. Looking to the east he noticed a small speck approaching rapidly. It was a single fighter, but he had a large power. Almost as large as Cyber's.

"Well, here comes someone worth talking to," Cyber stood to face the incoming fighter.

The fighter soared in and landed close by Cyberwulfe. He was a large black panther. Dressed in red armour with a white band around his arm, Cyberwulfe guessed this was their high commander. Perhaps the warrior Nekucha that the lion had mentioned before he died. The panther's tail twitched back and forth as Nekucha stared back at Cyberwulfe, then down at the lion, and around him at all the dead bodies. He growled softly and then stared up at Cyberwulfe.

"I see you've been busy," he said," I admire your skill. I trained these men myself and they were quite powerful. I see you are an opponent who should be watched carefully."

"Well I've never had any formal training. I just sent in three box tops and got my home training kit in the mail," Cyberwulfe taunted.

"Very funny. However, you won't have such an easy time with me. I am Zero Tiger's high commander. Next to him I and the strongest fighter in this part of the galaxy. I think you're in over your head my friend."

"Perhaps. And maybe you don't know me as well as you think," Cyber replied.

"Shall we find out?" Nekucha offered. He pointed to the base of the mountain where a large flat plateau awaited them," A proper duel, perhaps?"

"Alright. I accept your challenge."

Cyberwulfe and Nekucha leapt off the mountain and soared down to the plateau. Nekucha removed his belt and scouter, placing them on the ground before sliding off each piece of armour. He was left wearing a dark blue jumpsuit that covered his arms and legs. He wore black gloves and boots. After doing a few stretches, Cyberwulfe pulled off his gray shirt and removed a heavy lead training vest. Tossing it to the ground it crashed into a rock, crumbling it to dust. Cyberwulfe then put his shirt back on.

"I see you train in weighted clothing. But tell me, just how strong are you?" Nekucha asked.

"I don't know. I never fight at full power unless I need to. And I doubt any readings you have on me are accurate. Your men weren't worth a quarter of my power," Cyber replied.

"Then perhaps I am worth your attention. I promise you, you won't leave this battle in one piece," Nekucha seemed sure of himself.

"Alright, let's get on with this, shall we?"

Nekucha dropped down into a fighting stance. Cyberwulfe raised his arms in front of him, standing in a defensive position, ready for anything Nekucha might hit him with. All the training he'd received over the years, all the training and fighting in space over the past five months. It all led down to this. If he could defeat Zero Tiger's second in command, then perhaps there was a chance of him beating Zero himself.

Nekucha clenched his fists and roared. A bright red shroud of energy and flames exploded around him. Cyberwulfe's eyes widened as he senses Nekucha's power level rise faster and faster. The ground shook and bits of rock rose into the air. Cyber tried to keep his balance as the earth shook apart underneath him. Nekucha's tail swayed behind him, his fur bristling in every direction. Finally he stopped and stood straight, his body glowing with a reddish hue.

"Now I am ready for you," he spoke.

Phasing for a moment, Nekucha shot at Cyberwulfe. Cyber raised his paw to block the attack but it seemed as though Nekucha had gone right through his body and crashed against his face. Cyber went crashing to the ground. He skidded along until finally flipping up onto his feet. He saw Nekucha running towards him, leaping through the air like a pouncing cat to tackle him. Cyber ducked and dropped his paw to the ground, lifting his feet off the ground to kick Nekucha hard in the ribs. The cat flew into the air, followed closely by Cyberwulfe. He raised his fist and crashed into Nekucha's gut, delivering blow after blow to the feline's abdomen. Finally he phased and reappeared behind Nekucha, balling both his paws together and slamming them hard into the cat's spine. Nekucha flew toward the ground and flipped around quickly, landing on his hands and knees. The impact drove him deep into the ground.

Cyberwulfe dropped down and landed close by the hole where Nekucha had fallen. The cat levitated out of the hole and hovered there for a moment before landing on the opposite side from Cyberwulfe.

"Very nice. I expected as much from you," Nekucha grinned. It seemed as though he didn't have a scratch on him," You fight the same way as that wolf we killed a few months ago. He was looking for the Dragon Balls too."

Cyberwulfe gasped.

"Yes, I know you are the one who stole the balls from Lord Zero's ship. I can smell your scent. It matches the one left by the intruders. I was there when Lord Zero fought your friend and won. You should have seen him crying like a baby before Zero Tiger ripped his throat out with his claws," Nekucha chuckled.

"You're lying. RazorWolf self-destructed, hoping to take Zero Tiger with him," Cyber exclaimed," He died with honour!"

"That's probably what you hear people saying. But he really died like a little baby."

"Ok buddy, you just made a big mistake," a tiny spark of energy cracked in the air," You see, this strange thing happens when I get really pissed off," the ground started to rumble slightly, a blue flame erupted around Cyberwulfe," For some reason," Cyber's eyes glowed brightly, burning red with hatred," I seem to get stronger. So go ahead and try to make me mad. It will only make me stronger."

Cyberwulfe erupted with fire and energy, sending waves of blue fire shooting out towards Nekucha. The cat dug his boots into the ground as the waves pushed him backwards. Cyberwulfe threw his arms back and howled, the force of his explosion driving him into a small crater. His energy level skyrocketed to his maximum. His muscles were pumped up, full of fighting power. Cyberwulfe felt as if his body was going to explode before he got to fight anymore, but he held it in. Finally the fire faded down and flickered around his body.

"Do me a favour. Humour me," Cyberwulfe nodded towards Nekucha's scouter," Tell me how powerful I am right now."

"Fine with me," Nekucha chuckled and levitated the scouter from its place on the ground and placed it over his head. With the push of a button a set of numbers began to dance across the display. Nekucha watched the number count up and up, growing larger and larger before finally stopping. Nekucha just stood staring at Cyberwulfe through the lens of his scouter," It's at... fifty-three million."

Nekucha clenched his fists, his claws digging into his palms causing them to bleed.

"What's wrong with that? I thought you wanted a good fight," Cyber grinned.

"Well this only means one thing. I'm going to have to fight at my maximum too," Nekucha replied.

"Your maximum. I thought..."

"Heh heh, you fool. I wasn't fighting at my full. Barely half. Now stand back, I have something to show you."

Nekucha stretched to his full height, flexing his muscles and glaring at Cyberwulfe. His eyes glowed golden, and suddenly bright shafts of light shot out. He screamed a high feline snarl, his power rising even higher. Cyberwulfe was almost thrown back by the impact as rocks and dust flew in all directions. All Cyber could feel in his mind was the incredible power emanating from Nekucha. Finally the dust cleared and Cyberwulfe looked up at his opponent. Nekucha had grown to twice his original size, now towering over Cyberwulfe. Cyber's eyes widened as he stared into Nekucha's red eyes.

"Now you see what you are up against," Nekucha bellowed," Are you ready to die?"

"What a silly question, of course I am," Cyberwulfe replied, trying to keep his knees from knocking.

Nekucha swung at Cyber with his fist, but the more agile wolf dodged the attack. Strike after strike missed Cyberwulfe as he leapt from side to side, ducking as Nekucha kicked at his head.

"Your speed can't match your size," Cyberwulfe said.

"No matter. Once I connect you're finished," Nekucha replied.

He swung his fists at Cyberwulfe. The wolf blocked several strikes and managed to get behind Nekucha and kicked him hard in the side. Nekucha flew into a rock, crumbling it and skidding to a stop. He stood, holding his ribs and growling.

"I've trained to be faster than my strength," Cyberwulfe said," Bigger isn't always better."

"Grrr, I'll kill you soon enough!"

Cyberwulfe charged up a ball of energy and shot it at Nekucha. The cat swung his arm and batted it into the air. It exploded in a huge fireball. Cyberwulfe was running out of ideas. He couldn't just blast Nekucha because he was much stronger. All he could do was outmaneuver him and get in a few shots when he could. Phasing out, Cyber reappeared behind Nekucha and raised his fist. Nekucha sensed the move and thrust his arm backwards, catching Cyberwulfe in the head and sending him flying through the air. Before he landed, Nekucha caught him and spun him around, finally bringing him crashing down into the ground.

Cyber groaned and rolled onto his stomach, pushing himself up to his hands and knees. Nekucha put his heel on Cyber's back and pressed down, pushing the wolf into the ground further and further, pressing hard like a jackhammer. He drilled Cyberwulfe more than a foot into the ground slamming his foot down several times. Cyber remained motionless.

"Hehe, I told you it would be over soon," Nekucha chuckled.

He turned and started to walk away. Then he stopped. The ground had started to shake. He turned back towards the hole to see Cyberwulfe standing there, up to his waist in rubble. His energy shroud burning bright red and flickering violently. His muscles bulged, every part of his body was tight, like a spring that was about to pop. He stepped up out of the hole and stared up at Nekucha.

"Well now. Got a second wind did you?" Nekucha laughed.

Cyber didn't reply. He disappeared. Nekucha gasped and looked down. He saw Cyberwulfe with his elbow buried deep inside his guts. Cyber turned his elbow a little and then pulled out. Nekucha coughed up blood as Cyber took a few steps back, watching Nekucha stumble to his knees. Taking this opportunity, Cyberwulfe flew up to Nekucha and began pounding him hard in the face. He kicked Nekucha in the chest, following up with a few elbows to the head again. Finally he flipped upsidedown and brought his leg down and crashed it into Nekucha's back. The cat flew over the edge of the plateau and rolled down the steep slope, crashing through rocks before finally coming to a stop at the bottom. He lay motionless.

Cyberwulfe was still primed for fighting and soared down, landing both feet hard into Nekucha's spine. He flipped up into the air and charged a quick blast of energy. It crashed hard into Nekucha, blasting a large hole in the ground around the fallen warrior. He landed a few feet away and watched the body laying in the dirt.

"I know you're still alive. Get up and fight," he said to Nekucha.

Nekucha rose up from the ground slowly, holding his stomach," Damn you. How did you move so fast?"

"Lots and lots of special practice," Cyber replied.

"Well you won't dodge my next attack. I'm going to blow up the entire planet," Nekucha leapt up into the air to a high altitude and began charging up an energy ball.

"Cheater! Come down here and fight me!" Cyberwulfe called after him.

He flew up after Nekucha, but by the time he got to him the cat was ready. He fired his energy ball toward the planet. Cyber gasped and flew back toward the planet, passing the burst of energy and landing on the ground, directly in its path. Holding his paws up he caught the blast full on. His feet dug deep into the ground, pushing hard against the invading force. Cyber's paws were forced down to his chest, but he wouldn't let Nekucha destroy the planet, and possibly the Dragon Ball as well. He welled up all the strength in his body and pushed. The beam moved. He pushed with all his might, veins bulging from his arms and neck as his muscles pushed like they'd never done before.

"RazorWolf... help me!" Cyberwulfe prayed out loud.

"I want you to die and rot in hell forever!" Nekucha bellowed, channeling more energy into the blast.

Cyberwulfe was forced down to his knees, he could feel his butt brushing against the ground. He couldn't hold back the energy blast forever. Closing his eyes and pushing as hard as he could, the beam moved an inch, then forced Cyber into a crouching stance. He knew it was almost over.

"Razor... please!"

Nekucha just laughed," You'll be seeing him shortly! Then you faggots can spend eternity together in hell!"

"Noo!" Cyberwulfe screamed.

Straining every muscle in his body beyond their limits, he stood up forcefully and thrust his arms forward, pushing the beam away from him. Digging his feet deeper into the ground he braced himself and pushed with one arm, pulling his other back and balling his paw into a fist. Grinding his teeth from the effort, Cyber held off the energy blast with one paw while swinging his other forward. He punched the blast, sending it shooting back up towards Nekucha.

"What? It's not possible! Damn you!" Nekucha screamed.

The blast flew up and crashed into the panther, exploding in a huge fireball. Nekucha's body was completely destroyed. Cyberwulfe stood hunched over as bits a pieces of fiery panther bits rained down on him. Finally gasping for breath, Cyberwulfe collapsed to his hands and knees. Breathing heavily, he began to chuckle. Rolling onto the ground he lay on his back and laughed, then finally stopped and smiled. Looking up into the blue sky he knew the fight was over. The Dragon Ball was his now and soon they'd wish RazorWolf back to life.

After resting for a few hours to recover his strength, Cyberwulfe returned to the mountain and burned his way straight through to the Dragon Ball. Taking it in his paws he admired the familiar orange glow. After polishing it off he placed it in a small hip pouch. His mission accomplished, there was still one thing left to do.

"Alright, let's get this stuff packed up," one of Nekucha's men commanded.

After Nekucha's death, the remaining forces had started to pack up their base and evacuate their ships. They had sent a message to Zero Tiger's ship and were awaiting the arrival of the massive red frigate.

"Teams one and two, stand on patrol. We'll be green in ten minutes," the cat continued.

Twelve minutes passed and the ships began to lift off. Just as they flew into the lower atmosphere, Cyberwulfe arrived at their base camp. It was empty.

"Damn. They've already left," he muttered to himself.

Looking into the sky he could still see the tiny specks that were the ships, their blue engines burning brightly behind them. They'd gone, back to where they had come from.

"Well I guess I have nothing to do now but wait for Ozymandis and Jace to get back."

Nine days later, Cyberwulfe portable radio crackled to life," Cyber, are you there? Come in, Cyberwulfe."

"I hear you, Ozy. Got a bearing on my position?" Cyber replied.

"Why don't you charge up and I'll home in on your power level?"

"Sure thing," Cyber grinned.

He quickly raised his power level to half his full power and stared up into the sky. Shortly afterwards he saw the familiar shape of his ship, the Always. Smiling warmly, Cyberwulfe flew up to the ship and waited for Ozymandis to open the hatch. Floating inside, he approached the cockpit. He was greeted by Ozy and Brorjace. Cyber hugged Ozy tightly.

"Good to see you guys again. I take it you have the Dragon Ball?" he asked.

"Of course. It was pretty easy too. All we had to do was arm wrestle some big guy and he gave it to us as a prize," Jace replied.

"So Ozy, how long did it take you to beat him? A quarter of a second?" Cyber chuckled.

"Actually I let Jace do it. He beat him in less than that actually," the dragon replied.

"Good job, Jace. You just won us our prize. And now I have something to show you guys," Cyber smiled and reached a paw into his hip pouch. He pulled out the glowing Dragon Ball.

"Alright! So how hard was it to find?" asked Jace.

"Not hard. Just getting it was a bit of a hassle."

"How so?" asked Ozy.

"Never mind. Let's get back home. We've got a date with an old friend."

Ozy just nodded and went back into the cockpit. He turned the ship away from the planet and burned into space. Cyberwulfe massaged Ozy's shoulder for a moment and then sat in the copilots chair.

"It's been a long adventure, Ozy. But we've finally come to the end. RazorWolf is as good as alive now," Cyber exclaimed.

"I know you're happy," Ozy returned Cyber's grin," And you'll be happy to know that on the way back here, Jace and I did some serious training in the gravity chamber. I've got Jace up to six-hundred Gee's now."

"Perfect. We've still got a long way to go before we can take on Zero Tiger, but once we get RazorWolf back to life we're as good as gold."

Suddenly an alarm went off in the cockpit. A red light started to flash and a large dot appeared on the ship's radar.

"What's that?" Cyber sat upright and checked his sensor screens.

"Something big just popped up behind us, and it's coming in fast," Ozy replied.

Cyber punched a few buttons, bringing up a display of the view behind them," It's a big ship. Oh shit!"

"What is it?"

Cyber's eyes widened," It's a red frigate. Zero Tiger's here!"

"Oh no. We'd better jet!" Ozy punched the engines to full throttle.

The ship jolted sharply and shot away from the slower ship. Though frigate-class warships were built for speed, they couldn't outrun the small cruiser. Though they fired their mass drivers, the Always was too maneuverable and no shots hit. Once the ship was safely out of range, Cyberwulfe relaxed a little bit and slumped down in his chair again.

"I'm lucky you guys arrived when you did. The landing craft must have just gotten back with the frigate, and then came back here looking for me," Cyber said," I killed Zero Tiger's high commander and I doubt he's very happy with me."

"So you did have fun without us," Ozy prodded.

"Trust me, it was no picnic."

"Well let's just get back to earth, asap!"

Cyber just nodded. Always burned her way through space, on a direct beeline course for the blue planet they called home.

Before going to bed, Cyberwulfe gathered the Dragon Balls together on his bed. He lay them out and arranged them according to the number of stars buried inside each one. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven. This was his reward for five long grueling months in space. Fighting to earn the Dragon Balls. Fighting to stay alive. Training hard to become stronger. He knew RazorWolf would be proud of him, and in a few short days he'd be able to hear it from Razor himself.

Rolling the balls together into a small pile, Cyberwulfe rested his paws over them. They felt warm and throbbed with orange energy. Here was the power to make any wish come true. He could have anything in the world. Food, riches, the power to destroy Zero Tiger, or to live forever. But he only wanted one thing...

Once on earth, Cyberwulfe took a small sack and put the Dragon Balls inside. He flew off into the sky until a familiar structure came into view. It was the lookout tower of God, the guardian of the earth. It was here where the Black Star Dragon Balls made their home. Once the balls were secured inside the tower the earth would be safe. Then Cyberwulfe would make his wish to get RazorWolf back again.

Landing on in the main courtyard, Cyber rushed inside and placed each ball carefully on the pedestal where they had once lay only six months earlier. They glowed even more brightly now, as if they were happy to be back where they belonged. Cyberwulfe smiled and sighed, brushing away a tear as he stood staring.

Finally he left and flew back home. He could wait a few more days. He just wanted to be one-hundred percent sure the earth was safe before making another wish. Then all would be right in the universe... except one thing.

"I'll kill you Zero Tiger. Just you wait," Cyberwulfe growled out loud as he flew," I'll train and train and become stronger than you. Then I can kill you and avenge RazorWolf. This is my promise to you, you sick bastard."

Wiping away another tear, Cyberwulfe soared down to his home and prepared for the next few days.
